Fear

Are you ever afraid? Do you ever think that if you say something, or do something, no one will like you, or no one will talk to you? Perhaps you're afraid everyone will make fun of you is you speak your heart or mind.
J-dub talked tonight about not being afraid to stand up and tell people about Jesus. While that is very true and important in itself, I am not here to emphasize his fact. He did a good enough job of that on his own ("You know?" Haha, I love you John Wesley). I wanted to talk about speaking your mind on anything.
Many people lie in darkness and secret because they are afraid to say what they think. They are afraid to tell people about how they feel when someone uses a term, or when someone refers to a person or a place. People live in fear all the time that they are being judged.
Yes, life is full of people judging you, but when someone composes an idea of who you are, and what kind of things you do, there is only two things you should do:

  1. Accept it;
  2. And move on.
Because the truth is it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of you. The only thing that matters is that God loves you through thick and thin. God loves you as long as you continue to live by His word. When you speak your mind, don't do it in a rude way that tears people down. We need to work together, everyone, across all nations, denominations, religions, and races, to build each other up.

Life is crappy enough, why add to the pain. You know what the fear feels like, and the hurt.
Speak your mind. Speak up. Build people up. Build a nation of God's people.

Life doesn't have to be as bad as some believe. Teenagers don't have to die.

We can all live happy and drama free.
