13 September 2011

Today is United at Crossroads Baptist Church. I've been meaning to go to Pursued--a girls' Bible study--but I haven't been able to. I've been busy, or tired, and fellowship with my fellow Christians just seemed to be put on to the back burner.
But fellowship is important. When you worship with fellow Christians, you get a sense of security you don't always get in the "outside" world. Where two or more are gathered, the Spirit is there also.
In church Sunday night we sang a song with the lyrics, "Spirit fall down, Spirit fall down, Holly Spirit fall down on me". The truth is we didn't need to sing that. The Spirit was already there. The Spirit is always there for us as Christians in fellowship, Jesus is always there for us when we feel worthless, and God is always there for us when we need a guiding hand.
The Trinity Three-in-One watches over us and keeps us safe, as Christians. Forget that and you forget your faith.
